Easter Parties

Both girls had Easter parties at school. Macies was on Wednesday, and due to wonderful state STAAR testing, I couldn't go. And Josh wasn't sure he could make it. :-( So I enlisted Nina to go!! Macie was so excited to not have to wear a uniform! 

I love this kid! 

Nina thought she took lots of pictures, but it turns out she wasn't using her camera right and they didn't take. But I did get this one from Josh. He got there after the hunt. 

And when I picked her up from school she was so excited to show me her prize from the day! 

Brenna's party was on Friday. And since I was off that day, I got to go to hers! And so did Macie.

Macie was soooo excited about going that she asked every 5 minutes if it was time to go yet. :) I just knew she would have a great time! It turns out- she did have a good time, but my shy little girl came out. She wouldn't get 2 inches from me! Poor thing. I pray she doesn't get shy in Kindergarten next year! She can be so outgoing, and then the next thing I know, she retreats inside her shell. I wish I knew how to help her overcome this. 

Anyway- she did end up having a good time. And her big sister took great care of her!

During the party, they got to go see baby bunnies and goats. 

And then there was the torturous waiting to hunt those eggs!! You gotta do something to pass the time! 

And you gotta get your friends in on the action! 

Bucket heads!! Everyone's doin it! 

Then came time for the HUNT! Macie finally broke out of her shell a bit and joined brenna to hunt eggs! 

Sweet girls! How'd I get so lucky???

It was a fun day!! We even checked B out early and took her home with us after the party! WIN WIN!
