Pool Party: A Wyatt sleepover!

On July 1st, Wyatt came to hang out and spend the night while his Mommy and Daddy got away for the night. Macie was sooooo excited!! She loves her time with Wyatt!

He got there Wednesday morning and we got ready to head to Splash Kingdom!

Our ride was complete with a Dance Party by these two!

On the way, we picked up Macie's "My Mrs. Sara"! Macie had asked her to go to the water park with us back in May when she stayed with her for a day. And being the great friend she is, she offered to go with us! Or maybe she was glutton for punishment, I'm not sure which! But either way, she joined us for the day. We had so much fun! Macie and Wyatt went off to play, Brenna went to go ride slides, and Sara and I found chairs to relax in and visited! We got in the lazy river and the wave pool with the kiddos a couple of times, but mostly just watched them play. It was a fun day for all! Thank you Sara for joining us!

When we left, we decided to go ahead and grab us a half price pizza at Papa Johns for dinner. The kids love pizza, and I didn't have to cook! Win-Win!

After we got home, they played and played. It melts my heart to watch them have so much fun together. When they were younger, it was more of a chore to have Macie and Wyatt together than a pleasure. They fought over EVERYTHING. And if one wasn't whining or crying, the other one was. However, I am so glad to say that those days are behind us!!! Well, they still fight, but nothing like they used to! Now they just have fun. And Brenna is their leader. Scary, I know.

After they played, I fed them...

Then it was bath time! We were all in need of a good shower after the water park. I showered Macie first. Then when I was ready to put Wyatt in, I noticed I didn't have his clothes. So the following happened....

Me- Wyatt, go see if I left your clothes on the kitchen counter.

Wyatt- (runs to the kitchen and back) yes you did!

Me- Well, where are they?

Wyatt- (with a big smile) In the kitchen!

Me- (shaking my head in disbelief and amazement) Well, go back and get them Goober!

Wyatt- oh! Ok!

I'm tellin ya, I laughed SO hard!! That kid cracks me up!

When bed time rolled around, I made the kids a pallet in the living room and we had popcorn and a movie!

They laid here, still, for about....oh... 35 seconds! But they loved being together! Brenna eventually moved to my room, and Wyatt and Macie slept on the pallet together.

The next day, Carter joined our group for the day. Not gonna lie- 4 kids isn't for the faint of heart! But we had fun. We packed a picnic lunch and headed to Aunt Kims pool.

We had fun playing with the slo mo videos and jumping in together. Here are some of our shots...
