Blastball, Volleyball, birthday party, crawfish boil..... Oh my!

What a weekend! We were so busy on Saturday, that we needed all of Sunday to recover!
Friday was pajama and Teddy Bear day at Macies school. She was soooo excited! And she was even more excited to take her MeMawMom angel bear with her.

Friday night was kind of mellow. The girls wanted someone to play with, so we went and got Maylee. She and Macie had a blast!
And I spent some time doing this....
Much needed relaxation time!
Saturday morning we were up and running! First up was Wyatt's blastball game. He was so cute!!
I loved this swing!
I was one proud aunt!
As soon as his game was over, we headed to Brenna's volleyball game. The girls had been doing so good at practice that I was excited to see them play this week- and they didn't disappoint! They had confidence like I hadn't seen before- it was fantastic! Brenna got all but 1 serve over the net. I was so proud of her!
And she was all over the court going after that ball! So much improvement!
The Peaster Pups ended up winning all 3 games! I was so excited for them!
From there, we grabbed lunch and went to Graddy's for naps since it was going to be a long day. Macie napped, Brenna rested, and I redid Dad's bedroom! He has been needing a change, so I went and got him new bedding. I know it has to be hard to go in each night and crawl under that comforter that mom laid under for months. So I helped him out! And I think it turned out pretty nice-
At 2:00, we headed to our 3rd event for the day. Kinsley's birthday party! A water bounce house was a hit!
Not gonna lie- I wanted to join in the fun! But no worries. I refrained. These three monsters, however, had a blast!
Kinsley had a double theme.. Doc McStuffins and Frozen! Macie thought that was the coolest thing ever!
The sweet Birthday girl!
We ended the party with a piñata!
Next up- our FOURTH engagement- the Baldwin's Crawfish Boil! It was an evening full of friends, food, and fun! They were even sweet enough to invite Dad to come with us. We all had a blast! It's so nice to live in such a great neighborhood surrounded by people we enjoy.
Josh found the lobster crawfish! It was HUGE!
The crawfish were plentiful. We even had leftovers. I learned my lesson last year about eating till I was sick. Luckily I was smarter than that this year.
I enjoyed spending time just sitting to the side and visiting with my Daddy.
The kids enjoyed playing in the freezing cold pool!
I took these 3 cuties on a buggy ride to get our extra floatie. They were so cute talking to each other.
Macie and Maylee are two peas in a pod! They get along so well and enjoy each other. They melt me when they walk around holding hands.
Brenna enjoyed playing volleyball with the big kids!
It was a great night! Fun was had by all. But the day totally wore us out!! I spent most of Sunday on the couch or asleep in bed! That never happens. Ok- that HARDLY EVER happens. But it was nice. I did end up getting dressed and taking the girls to get a sno cone. But the line at the only stand in town was forever long! So we opted for an ice cream cone.
Sunday night was early to bed for us all. I sent macie to get ready for bed, then went in and saw this..
How sweet are they??!!??
But don't let the sweetness of this picture fool you. 90% of they time they fight like cats and dogs. That's what makes these sweet moments so special.
And because I believe in keeping it real- I wanted to take a picture of Brenna kissing her sister good night, and this is what I got. Yep, that's Macie rolling away and screaming "NOOOOO!" And Brenna is taking that as a personal challenge to kiss her anyway, no matter how loud her screams get. Real life people. It ain't always full of sweet tender moments!
