Father's Day 2016

Since Josh had to work on Father's Day this year, we celebrated a few days early. We had Dad and Kathy, Pops and Memaw and the Popes over for dinner. We had a great time! But pictures?? Nope! OOPS!!!
The girls were excited to give Josh their gift. He had mentioned that he wanted a Texas Rangers shirt, so we had ordered it for him. And we took our annual Father's Day pictures for him!!

I love that we have done these pictures for the last 5 years. It's so fun to see how the girls have changed. This year we tried two different locations since the sun seemed to be in their faces outside.
And I gave my Daddy tickets for him and I to go to the Ranger's game right after his birthday! I love Daddy Daughter dates!!
We had a great time with our families! And I still can't believe I didn't get any pictures... ugh.
A few weeks before Father's Day, Kathy texted me and asked me if we would come and surprise Dad at their church on Father's Day. I thought this sounded like a great idea! I knew it would make his day. Josh was supposed to work that day, so I knew it would just be the girls and I. But he ended up taking a vacation day that day since we left for vacation the next morning. However he decided to spend that time with his dad going to breakfast while we went with Dad to church and lunch.
It was so fun to walk in and see his face when he saw us!

After church we went to eat at Red, Hot and Blue. One of Dad's favorite places to eat! We enjoyed our time with them so much! Thanks for a great day Daddy and Kathy!!
As soon as we finished lunch, it was time to head home and get started packing for DISNEY!!!!!
