Happy Birthday Nana

I love the way he loves his Nana.
This precious lady celebrated her 79th birthday last week. We are all so very thankful that she is still here to celebrate. In early December, we weren't sure that was going to happen. But thankfully God wasn't done with her yet, and knew we weren't done with her yet!
We all got together last Sunday to celebrate our Nana. Thankfully Pops and Memaw let us all invade their house. It was the perfect afternoon/evening.
We ate pizza outside and watched the kids play. Then we gathered inside to sing to our sweet Nana.
She wasn't sure about all the fussing over her.
After dessert we all gathered outside to just visit. That's my favorite part of a Jackson get together. Just BEING together. Everyone laughs. Everyone loves. Everyone feels like they belong. It's what life is all about.
A couple of the kiddos started playing around with the volleyball, and the next thing I knew, Aunt Emily, Aunt Jana and Uncle Jeff were all out there playing with them.
Sweet cousin time. Memories they don't realize they are making.
These two are something else. He hates hugs. And she feels it's her obligation to see how many she can try to give him.
Fun was had by all. It was a great time of enjoying each other and being thankful for the opportunity to celebrate another year with our Nana.
